From our whip-smart student teams to our volunteers, judges and sponsors: many thanks to all of you for making the 2019 ASA DataFest at U of T such an action- and fun-filled event!

From May 3-5, students wrestled a large data set provided by CSI Pacific to gain insight into the role of fatigue in the performance of Canada’s Women’s Rugby Sevens team.

In the end, five teams snagged medals for Best in Show, Best Visualization, Best Use of External Data, and two honourable mentions.
